In the heart of the winter of 2022, Amy decided to spread a little extra holiday cheer among her gaming group. With a keen eye for creativity and a love for the world of role-playing games (RPGs), she crafted personalized dice crates as Christmas presents for her players. These unique, hand-made creations were met with such enthusiasm and joy that they sparked an idea: why not share this passion with the wider RPG community?
Thus, Crates of Chaos was born.
Our founder discovered an unexpected delight in designing and creating these dice crates. Each one was a canvas for her imagination, blending practicality with artistry. The positive feedback from her initial gifts encouraged her to continue honing her craft, and by the start of 2023, she decided to take the next step.
Fueled by the enthusiasm of her gaming group and her own excitement, she ventured into her first small convention in 2023. It was a modest beginning, but the response was overwhelming. Attendees were drawn to the personal touch in each crate. Many shared stories of their own RPG experiences, creating a warm, vibrant community around her booth.
Crates of Chaos is rooted in the collaborative spirit of RPGs. Our founder thrives on the creativity that these games inspire, and each dice crate is a reflection of that love.
